No Way Iraq !!!

Hijack
A plane has been hijacked by terrorist who has demanded that we release some convicted criminals of their choosing. Their are several families afraid for the live of their families that are on the the plane. They all remember the 9/11 incident. They are begging and pleading, asking me to release the criminals so the could get their families back down on the ground safely. This discussion should have been a no brainier for me to let out the people the terrorist wanted and hoped everyone could go home with their families safe and sound that was on that hijacked plane. But then I got to thinking, what if the terrorist are lying? What if after everyone they want out of jail are out, they still hold the airliner and or some other huge organization hostage trying for some other demand. But then I thought about what if my family was on that plane, was put in that situation? what would I do to make sure they made it back to me safely and the other people mad sacrifice e it home safely. Would I be willing to sacrifice twenty liver to save twenty billion? Would I be willing to my son and daughter if by any chance they were on that plane. I don't think I would sacrifice my son and daughter but I would everyone else.
Under the U.S laws, anyone taking hostage anywhere in the world from the U.S is a crime. Also any hostage taking actions as in which the United States are a main target is crime(http://usinfo.state.gov/journals/itps/1101/ijpe/pj63policy.htm ) (U.S law 18 USC 1203) Act of Prevention and punishment. the United States Government will not pay ransom, release prisoners, change its policies or agree to anything that might encourage other terrorist to try the same exact thing. The United States Believes in standing strong when it comes to terrorism. The U.S understands that they are responsible for the safety of it's people. That's the reason for its enhanced physical and personal security program or (TIP) Terrorist Interdiction Program.

The U.S counter terrorism policy is to make no concessions to terrorist and strike no deals. bring terrorist to justice for their crimes and isolate the states that sponsor terrorism and try to make other countries that work with the us (U.S) to adopt some of our same policies and ask for some assistance.

If terrorist were to ever hijack an airliner that I was on charge of trying to get money, the release of prisoners, or a chance of the law or anything else of some sort, not just acting on the U.S. policies but acting on my own intent Without my children being on the plane, I would have the nation to respond in the most reasonable way possible. I would tell the hijacker no that I won't let any of the prisoners go and hope they are bluffing with whatever they say they are going to do. All I know is If they take out the people on the plane, like on the movie Swordfish, we are going to take out their city children and all.

I being a U.S citizen agree with the U.S counter terrorism policies unless it comes down to my children and husband. I don't only agree with the policy for terrorist but I agree with it for murders, bank robbers, and hostage taker in general, Anyone who believe in taking someone or something just to get what they want. It's not fair to those who are doing the right thing. If you give one person their way, the next person should get their way with the same actions also.
