Human Right vs. Majority Rule I have a son and a daughter ages one and five months and six months old. Neither one of my children has yet been able to go to a school or even a daycare that may have the potential gays or homosexuals or someone who has had the opportunity to change their sexual preference, but in the society we live in today, i know it's only a matter of time before they run into one of those kind. I've always been brought up to know that being gay was by all means and a sin in God's eye and that those type of people do not have a chance to get to the heavenly gates with god. According to a very old saying: God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve and in vise verse. I remember a long time ago, you would not know that any person was a homosexual or a transsexual, but now days they don't care. But I do. I'm not saying I'm gay or anything like that but I prefer for that particular person to hide the fact that they prefer to be with their same sex or they have had a sex chance. i personally do feel safe around them for the simple fact that the man might take my man or the woman might try to take me in some way shape or form. I feel violated just being around Homos. People defiantly children are influenced everyday by a little bit of everything. I know there are major concerns about homosexuals, transsexual, gays, and lesbians teaching in our schools but their sexual preference should not stand in the way of the fact that they may be the most qualified for the job. People should be worrying abut if their children are getting the correct education by the right person and not if that person use to have male genitals or not. Parents need to worry about if that teacher is a child abuser or a child molester. Who's to say that that gay person don't or do teach a class better than a straight person who has been married for twenty years. Because a person is gay don't make another person want to become gay, defiantly a child. they automatically think kissing and hugging is nasty. Any mom knows before their child start school any way if their child is "funny" acting. I don't think being a gay teacher is a major problem that should be protested. They are not doing no more wrong than a person who is having sex or living with a person without being married. Becoming gay is a persons personal choice. They usually know before they start school anyway. It's a person's human right to be and become what they please. There is no majority rule. that's just like saying a gay mother don't want Dr. Lucas to teach her child because he may not be a homosexual and she feels that would be a bad influence on her child...... |

Why is your text pink? Do you find this easy to read? I do not.
"I've always been brought up to know that being gay was by all means and a sin in God's eye and that those type of people do not have a chance to get to the heavenly gates with god."
Well God also gave you a brain and the agency to make decisions for yourself. This is a moral question, and it is your responsibility to make it; see the 3rd ¶ of your perception entry.
Please proofread. Much of your language is offensive, and therefore inappropriate for a college class.
Good words.
